We cannot overstate the importance of regular cleaning and sanitizing your CPAP equipment! As mentioned in our previous articles, Ozone (O3) is proving to be the best available choice for automated CPAP cleaner, and this is why we, at PrimeClean, are focused on making the perfect CPAP Ozone Sanitizer. Now we can proudly present the new PrimeClean® Upgraded CPAP cleaner (N105), and we are offering it with PrimeClean® Ozone Filter upgraded Sanitizing Bag.
The air you breathe in is as clean as your CPAP device! With all the benefits from the CPAP device in treating sleep apnea, if not used properly, it can produce serious health issues for the users. Allergies, frequent airways infections, or nasal congestions, that new CPAP therapy patients start experiencing while adjusting to it, usually come from irregular maintenance… More precisely irregular cleaning and sanitizing of CPAP machine and equipment. An average patient uses their CPAP for eight hours per night. Room air goes into the machine, filter, tube, mask, and nose. Then exhaled air goes back into the mask, and partially tube. Over time dust, allergens, germs, viruses, and other harmful pathogens can collect. Then as moisture and humidity collect, the inside of CPAP supplies turns into a perfect breeding ground for mold and bacteria. If not cleaned and sanitized regularly, a CPAP machine and equipment quickly becomes a serious health threat.
Do you really need an automated cleaner? Can't you just clean manually? Yes, and yes. Let's start with the manual cleaning…of course cleaning CPAP equipment manually is an acceptable solution. Usually, it is done with mild soap, warm water, and some vinegar (for sanitizing effect). It is actually recommendable to manually clean your CPAP equipment from time to time, even if you are using an automated cleaner on daily basis (that is the only way to remove possible dirt or collected dust). The downside of manual cleaning is that it is not highly sanitizing, and it takes time to do it…washing in water-vinegar solution takes time, but also drying the equipment and letting it "lose the smell", takes additional time. So is automated cleaner necessary? No, it's not. But it is a certainly better solution, as it is time-consuming, and can provide a better sanitizing effect (ozone sanitizer will reach every area and disinfect it with over 99% efficiency).
Why ozone? Ozone is in use as a sanitizing agent since early 1800. It is widely used in medicine and industry, and more recently in household sanitation processes. For automated cleaners, the alternative to ozone is UV light…we already wrote about the advantages ozone cleaners have over UV cleaners and manual cleaning, here. There are a few other high-quality automated ozone cleaners in the market, but for high sanitizing results, we can recommend, and guarantee, only for the New Upgraded PrimeClean® CPAP Cleaner (N105).
As a CPAP Cleaner, PrimeClean kills 99.9 percent of germs, without introducing moisture that could then become a breeding ground for more germs. PrimeClean® CPAP Cleaner is designed to safely use ozone, rather than sending it directly out into the room.
Upgraded Sanitizing Bag - with Ozone Filter Upgraded Sanitizing Bag, there is no more that “clean smell” (ozone smell) that some people feel is left once the sanitizing process is finished. The upgraded bag has a perfect seal and any ozone that gets in the sanitizing bag is filtered through Ozone Filter and turned into pure oxygen (O2) before it leaves the bag, which eliminates any possibility of feeling the ozone after the sanitization process is done. Besides the ozone filtering improvement, the upgraded bag is also larger than the previous version and it can fit your entire CPAP equipment.
PrimeClean® CPAP Cleaner (N105) – improved sanitizing process. For the upgraded cleaner we used high-end, improved durability, material, with a glossy-finish design. To make the whole process easier, we added a convenient, discrete LED display, which shows the remaining sanitizing time. Now you can plan your activities, knowing when the sanitizing process will be finished. The new cleaner also has a better battery. With the extended battery life, now you can have up to 6 sanitizing processes on a single battery charge!
The whole process of cleaning/sanitizing with ozone sanitizer lasts around 30 minutes and is fairly simple… You just need to put CPAP equipment into sanitizing bag (be sure to empty the water; some moisture is fine, but don’t add water inside the bag), close the bag, and plug the sanitizer device into the adapter on the bag (or the CPAP hose directly). The sanitizer device itself is small and portable and works on its rechargeable battery power. The PrimeClean® CPAP Cleaner takes the daily hassle out of cleaning your CPAP equipment…you simply press the only button on the device and walk away. In a half an hour your equipment is sanitized at an efficacy rate of 99.9%, it doesn’t get any easier than that!
